UES boot socks have been designed for engineered boots, work boots, riding boots, and any heavy-duty footwear. They have a length and function to cover firmly when wearing boots.
The UES boot socks are knitted using slub yarn made from a blend of dororon cotton and Dralon®, giving the knit a fast drying and an excellent heat insulation.texture. They have been woven on a loom up to the ankle topped with a knitted finish. Dralon®, which is an acrylic fabric coated with Teflon, is a classic water-resistant and fast-drying outdoor fabric. The lightfastness is 6 out of 8, making dralon perfect for outdoor use.
Dororon cotton with excellent sweat-absorbing property and the fast-drying property is used for the body surface thread. It is an excellent material for all-season with deodorant function and heat insulation.
In aim at improving the wear resistance and improving the touch and the effect of slip prevention, curl yarn is used for anti-slip measures on the toe and heel.
The length supports up to cover the calves adequately. Prevents ankle and sole deviation and improves the fit.
In addition to improving the fit, by changing the thickness of the pile partially, reinforcing thread is added to the Achilles tendon part where the friction most occurs in the boots to enhance the strength.
Pile knitting is used in the part where the cushion is needed. To enhance the fit, we made the thickness of the pile thinner at the instep part of the foot.
UES is a small Japanese label founded by Chuji Matsumoto in 1994. UES comes from the English word "Waste", which means that Matsumoto-San wants you to make full use of each garment for as long as possible before discarding it. It is a small judgement of the concept of disposable wear that is so commonplace today in the world of fashion and from which Matsumoto-San disassociates himself completely.
